Spring Research Celebration

MSU’s Research Celebration spotlights the innovation, discovery, and transformative real-world solutions that make Mississippi State University the lead research institution in the state. Departments throughout campus are planning a variety of events to highlight research in their respective areas. Links to those opportunities appear in the calendar below. 

Two anchor events of MSU’s Research Celebration include:

The Research Showcase, held in the center of campus on the YMCA Plaza April 7, provides a platform where our university community can engage first-hand with graduate students and faculty researchers. 

The Undergraduate Research Symposium on April 8 and 9, celebrates undergraduate student researchers from many disciplines. A cornerstone of MSU’s Research Celebration, the symposium spotlights the important role of student research in the student experience and in the research enterprise.

Join us as we celebrate both the creative and collaborative research activities taking place on our campus and the rich ecosystem that supports research throughout our university.
